As the sun rises on another new day at Mevagissey, Ben and Thomas eagerly fish by the harbourside, ready to snap up the day’s first catch.

Celebrating Britain’s best streets Steep Hill, Lincoln, was named Britain’s Best Place by the Academy of Urbanism in 2011. As the name suggests, the street has a notably steep gradient. It was originally built by the Romans to connect the growing parts of Lincoln, but Steep Hill has come a long way since then. Today, it is a popular bustling tourist street, lined with independent shops, tea rooms and pubs. The entrance to Lincoln Cathedral lies at the top of the hill and the impressive structure can you seen as you ascend the steep climb.

Just northwest of Oxford lies Woodstock, the wonderful historic town that dates back to the 11th Century. It has housed many greats over the millennia, including Winston Churchill, Queen Victoria and Thomas Cromwell.

In this detective game you start at 221B and travel through the streets and alleys of London picking up clues and attempting to solve the most intriguing cases Holmes and Watson have ever faced.Each player assumes the role of Holmes and matches wits with the other players to determine who possesses the most skilful powers of deduction. The game includes 75 cases and each case is represented by a card that features a crime told in story form, a selection of probable suspects and a list of locations involved in that crime.Clues are hidden throughout London, one in each of fourteen locations. Players must collect clues from each location, noting them down on their checklists as they attempt to find the answers to the questions listed on the case card.Naturally, the crime scene will often contain vital clues, and a prudent detective always checks with the neighbours. First built in 1944, the Avro Type 694 was a British four-engined heavy bomber that later became the last piston-engined bomber operated by the Royal Air Force. In August 2014, the world's only two airworthy Lancaster bombers took to the skies at the RAF Coningsby's airfield in Lincoln, as part of a historic six-week tour. The two Lancaster bombers, fondly named Thumper and Vera, are owned by Britain's Royal Air Force and the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum and were united on a windswept airfield for what may be the very last time.
